Haiku Stairs aka "Stairway to Heaven"
For this blog I want to share an amazing experienced that I had happen to me last year 2013 December. For me this is most extreme yet and wonderful time of my life. It's an unforgettable memory I'll say. I finally decided to hike the haiku stairs aka stairway to heaven. This happen last December during winter break. It was more likely an unplanned day for me. I did not know that I will be hiking the the stairway to heaven until my group of friends invited me to hike this trial. At first I was like umm I'm not sure if I'm ready for this trial yet. Because you know things can happen you never know right. It took me at least a night until I decided to say yes that I'm down to go hike the trail. After that I felt kind of scared and anxiety are starting to build up, since I heard a lot of stories about the trail. How'd it's like in the ridge of the mountain. That if you slip off you may RIP. So I was kind of scared but I finally told myself I can do this. YOLO right lol. But anyway my groups friends and I went to the place around 2am in the morning and all of us were pretty much excited but nervous at the same time. Some of us were first timer and then the rest are old timers so we did have someone who would guide us, which great especially this hiking trail. As we start hiking everyone head light was on, gloves where on and a jacket is one. Ready or not we started hiking. It was really dark and the only light you have is your headlight and everyone else shadows. Nonetheless, we hike the trail. It was very steep and the metal steps were sort of scary and wiggly. So what I did I hold on as much I can just incase. At first you would not see the view of the mountain cause it was dark but the lights at night was just amazing. As friends we just continue stepping on these metal steps. I think every 1000 steps or so there's a platform that you can rest until you continue again. I remember once were hiking the wind starts to get cold and very misty. And your hand starts to get wet due to mist which it's a little harder on the trail. As many steps went by we finally made it to the top. And we saw so many people resting on a block cement that can be used as a shade. Because once your up there it's freezing cold and very wet. Everyone seem to just wait until the sunrise and rest a little bit. Some of us brought some snacks to eat and of course a lot water. Also other people are taking naps while waiting. I think we got there around 530am and we waited until 7am for the sunrise. Of course selfies must happen right and group pictures also. The view from the top was just suprisingly beatiful. The clouds are just above your head that you can almost touch them. The temperature was very cold but it was worth it to hike. As for me I think this is best hike I ever done in my life. One of the best. And for sure will do this again maybe in the future. Unforgettable hike.

Cute Boutique
This Spring Break, I discover a place called TheFaceShop. This little boutique consists of facial mask, facial cleanser etc. The shop is located everywhere in Oahu (Ward Center, McCully and more). It's Korean store that sells natural products that benefits beauty and health for women and men. The price are reasonable and more likely starts about $2 or more but it all depends on what you buy. The time I visit the shop I bought 10 mask and you can choose any variety. So far the result of the face mask is very good and it does make your face feel clean and smooth. I used the mask about once a week. Overall, this shop is my go to place for face mask. I totally recommend this place if your looking for beauty products.

3 Peaks Mountains
So I've been wanting to try this trail for a long time now. Olamano Hike I believed it's located at Kailua, HI. This hike consists of 3 peaks mountains were you have complete each peak before continuing to second peak or third peak. People says that this hike is very dangerous and maybe injure yourself. Someone even mention to me that after the first peak she didn't even bother to do the second peak nor the third peak, is that dangerous and scary. But I do really want to try this hike, so I can complete my bucket list. Ahhhh I'm not sure if I even want to try this cause of the stories that I heard. Nonetheless, who knows maybe I'll hike this trail during Spring Break!! Wish me luck.YOLO Lol

1,048 steps!!!!
Koko Head? You heard that right! This hiking trail seem to very infamous for everyone who enjoys hiking and not only that it's also for people who are looking for another alternative workout. This trail is located at Koko Head Park Rd Honolulu, HI 96825. It's more likely a district park that is open to the public and a good thing about this place is that there is a lot parking stalls, which great. The trail is made of metal/wooden steps that is place underneath the mountain were it partly safe for hikers. It's also consumes about 1,048 steps which it can be tiring, especially in your knee. Also the trail has it little challenged of stepping over a bridge that highly no ground in the bottom, where you will only have steps to hold you. It kind of fascinating in a way and the thrilled that you look for in hiking. In my personal experienced this trail can be tough in the first time because you particularly don't know what to expect or how you feel after. As I was hiking this trail I literally felt about to past out. I had stopped for couple minutes and rest a little bit. I don't know why it maybe because I was dehydrated. But I did pull through all the way to the top and reached the destination. The view was just so delightful, you could see hanama bay on one side. I believed I hike this trail about 3 times now and to be honest this trail gives you the best cardio and it's way to boost your heart rate. I usually tell people to hike this trail if you want to challenged yourself because this is something that you should do. Overall, this a definitely a go to hiking spot, especially if you like hiking!! Good luck and Have fun..

Kuliouou Ridge Trail
Hiking should be a sport??? Well technically it's more of hobbies and survival kind of thing. Last summer 2013 I was dedicated to go to different hiking trails over the break which I was excited about and it was part of bucket list. I don't know why but for some reason I just like to get off the from the city life were I like to enjoy and see the nature at times. So it's a typical Saturday morning for me. Got up around 6:30am and plan to go hiking with my cousin. The first hiking trail that we accomplished on summer break of 2013 is called Kuliouou Ridge Trail, which is technically located in Hawaii, Oahu. The trail is much located in Kalaau Pl Honolulu, HI 96821, it's a residential place. Usually the residence know where the trail is located at. If you ever hike this trail just ask one of the residents, because for some reason we almost didn't know where it was. Good thing one of the resident saw us and told us where it is located at. Once you get there park on the sides of the street. The trail should be in front of you and there should be a sign called Kuliouou Ridge Trail. Then when your ready you can start hiking!!! Don't forget to bring water and put some sunblock to protect you from the sun. This hike more likely work out your calves and quadriceps, which you are more likely get when you hike. It took us about 3hrs in total to hike this trail including breaks in between and picture taking of course. The trail includes about long steep trails, and steps in between. And as you reach the destination you should see a panorama view of the sides of Oahu, you will see the oceans, and some mountain ridges and of course some clouds on top of your head. So if you like to go hiking check this place out. It's good hiking trail if you need get your heart rate up and a good leg work out... Good luck:)
